I will admit, I’m a little nervous for our studies to resume. We’ve had such a nice break that I kind of don’t want it to end. I’m praying that our new learning style will be a little easier on us this coming year. We are switching from a traditional style to the Charlotte Mason approach. I’ve heard great things about the CM approach and think it will help our family. In implementing this new way of thinking, I’m really trying to focus on habits right now. My kids are not the best when it comes to good habits. I tend to try and take on everything myself, which means nothing gets done well, and the kids are left to do as they wish. I really want to work on changing this, to give myself some rest, and instill good habits in them for when they’re older. Things can get hectic during our day, so I needed a visual reminder for myself. I created these printables to remind myself of the importance of work and to remember what I am trying to cultivate in my children. Charlotte Mason’s motto was perfect for this set.
I loved the way they came out and wanted to offer them to any other homeschoolers who use the CM method. I think they are a wonderful reminder during my day and I hope they will be for you too. Enjoy!
